Healthy Cooking Class

The healthy cooking class empowers Ethnic minority women to be self-sufficient in the kitchen. In addition, it also increases their knowledge about nutrition, hygienic preparation of foods and substitution of ingredients to several Ethnic minority recipes for a healthier meal.

It is composed of 2 sessions. The first session will be the demonstration of UCN community dietitian about the proper preparation and healthy way of cooking foods as well as choosing proper ingredients for the recipes. The second session will be the application of South Asian women on what they have learned on the first session using their own recipe.
